A Step Towards Dignity and Support

The Thakur Satyanarayan Kapuria Mandir Trust, Rampur Bushahr (operated by Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Himachal Pradesh), took compassionate action after taking note of a news report written by journalist Meenakshi Sharma from Dainik Savera.

The case was of Keher Singh, a resident of Lalasa village, who is both speech and hearing impaired. For many years, he had been struggling without proper disability certification, due to which he was unable to access government schemes and benefits. Coming from a poor and uneducated family, his parents were unable to navigate the process or seek help.

Recognizing the urgency of the situation, the temple trust took responsibility for assisting him. After nearly three months of continuous efforts and coordination, the process was successfully completed. With his disability documents now prepared, Keher Singh will be able to avail various government benefits, including a monthly pension of ₹3000. Arrangements are also being made to open his bank account to ensure smooth access to these benefits.

Special appreciation goes to Shri Lakshmi Nand Sharma, a resident of Lalasa village, who extended unwavering support throughout the process and accompanied him to Shimla multiple times until the work was completed.

The Mandir Trust has always believed that temple resources should be utilized not only for religious purposes but also for meaningful social service. This initiative reflects that commitment. May Lord Satyanarayan bless us with the strength and ability to continue serving society in many more ways.

Jai Shri Satyanarayan Bhagwan.
