On the sacred occasion of Ram Navami, a grand Ramotsav celebration was organized at the premises of Thakur Shri Satyanarayan Temple in Rampur Bushahr. The event was organized by the Vishva Hindu Parishad (District Rampur) and witnessed enthusiastic participation from devotees across the town and nearby areas. The entire atmosphere was filled with devotion and spiritual energy.
Auspicious Beginning of the Event
The program began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by Swami Shri Jai Devang Ashram, marking an auspicious start to the celebrations.


Grand Procession in Rampur Bazaar
A magnificent religious procession was carried out through Rampur Bazaar. Devotees participated with great enthusiasm, singing devotional songs dedicated to Lord Ram. The collective recitation of the Hanuman Chalisa added a deeply spiritual essence to the procession.

Celebration of Lord Ram’s Birth and Satsang
At the temple premises, a traditional Aarti was performed at the sacred moment of Lord Shri Ram’s birth. This was followed by a Satsang session. During the event, Vinay Sharma from Vishva Hindu Parishad highlighted the importance of Lord Ram’s life values and ideals.

Spiritual Message and Guidance
Swami Shri Jai Devang Ashram addressed the gathering, urging the Hindu community to remain aware and committed to preserving their religion and culture. He emphasized the importance of passing these values and traditions to future generations.

Prasad Distribution
At the conclusion of the program, Prasad was distributed among all devotees, marking a fulfilling end to the celebration.
Ramotsav Celebrations Across the Region
District Minister Vishnu Sharma shared that Vishva Hindu Parishad celebrates Ramotsav across the country for 15 days, beginning from Chaitra Shukla Pratipada (Hindu New Year). These celebrations include festivals such as Ram Navami, Hanuman Jayanti, and Sita Jayanti.
He further informed that Ramotsav programs are being conducted across all eight blocks of District Shimla, with the Rampur block event successfully completed.

The event was attended by members of several organizations, including Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), Seva Bharati, Ekal Abhiyan, Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), and Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram.
