In response to the devastating floods that struck Samej village in Rampur Tehsil, a team of volunteers from Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, Seva Bharati, and Thakur Satyanarayan Kapuria Mandir Trust (operated by Vishva Hindu Parishad Himachal Pradesh) visited the affected area to offer support and solace to the flood victims.
While the tragedy is immense and irreplaceable, a humble effort was made to assist those in need. Essential household items like tarpaulins, mattresses, blankets, a week’s worth of ration kits, pressure cookers, utensils, soap, oil, toothpaste, buckets, mugs, and more were distributed to about 30 families to help them begin rebuilding their lives.
May God grant peace to the souls of those who lost their lives and give strength to their families to bear this great loss.
