The Thakur Satyanarayan Kapooria Temple Trust, Rampur (operated by Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Himachal Pradesh), celebrated the auspicious festival of Janmashtami on 15 August 2025 with immense devotion, joy, and cultural vibrance.

The evening came alive with a soulful Bhajan Sandhya presented by Shringa Rishi Bhajan Mandali, Banjar. Their melodious bhajans filled the temple premises with divine energy. The captivating performances by Shri Man Gopal Ji and Baldev Ji mesmerized the devotees and inspired many to dance in devotion.

At midnight, marking the divine birth of Lord Krishna, the idol of Bal Gopal was gracefully placed in a beautifully decorated cradle. After the sacred aarti, devotees sang traditional “Badhai” songs, celebrating the joyous arrival of the Lord. Prasad consisting of fruits, khoye ke pede, makhan-mishri, dhania prasad, and other offerings was distributed among the gathered devotees. The atmosphere remained spiritually charged with dancing and devotional singing late into the night.

During the program, the Trust members warmly welcomed the guests by offering traditional caps and stoles. Artists from the Ram Leela Club also arrived with their divine tableaux, and were honored with a flower shower by the Trust.

On this special occasion, Shri Shiv Kumar Ji, Vibhag Pracharak of RSS Rampur, addressed the gathering. He emphasized the importance of moral values and cultural awareness, especially urging mothers to instill good samskaras in their children to help remove societal evils.
Several respected dignitaries were also present, including:
- Shri Pawan Kumar Ji, Zila Pracharak (RSS Rampur)
- Shri Pawan Ji, Organisation Minister (ABVP Rampur)
- Shri Vinod Kumar Ji, Organisation Minister (VHP Mandi Division)

The temple was beautifully decorated with flowers through the efforts of Trust member Anil Kumar Mokta Ji, owner of Mokta Tent House. All members worked tirelessly to ensure a smooth and memorable celebration. Invitation letters were distributed throughout the town to encourage widespread participation.
The temple priests—Shri Krishna Nautiyal Ji, Shri Loknath Ji, and Shri Bali Ram Ji—performed the rituals, aarti, bhog, and prasad distribution with utmost devotion. The staff members—Satish Kumar, Satyanand, Sandeep Kumar, Pyare Lal, and Sunil Kumar—managed the arrangements efficiently throughout the event.
On the following morning (16 August 2025), an abhishek ceremony of Lord Krishna was performed, followed by a Havan Yajna held on the auspicious occasion of Sankranti.
